As part of the Nancy Carnegie Merrill Historical Room, Exeter Public Library has created a Digital Conversion Center with machines able to convert analog media to digital content. Please note that these devices are for in-house use only.

Video2Digital Converter 3.0

Video to Digital Converter

This device will let you convert video and audio sources to digital format. The source data can be from VHS, Hi8, and camcorder players, retro gaming systems, cassette players, turntables, and more. 

Epsom FastFoto FF-680W Wireless 

Photo Scanner

This device will let you view and scan printed photos to a digital format. It is wireless and very speedy. The photos you scan can be up to seven inches (7") wide, and of any length.

Kodak Reels Film Digitizer

Film Digitizer

This device will let you convert film reels to a digital format. The source footage can be from either 8mm or Super 8mm film reels. The digitized footage records onto an SD card. This device can also be used to view film.

Kodak Slide N Scan Digital Film Scanner

Digital Film and Slide Scanner

This scanner allows you to view and digitize photo negatives that are in a slide format. It works with sizes 135 (3:2 ratio), 110 (4:3), and 126 (1:1 ratio), as well as 50mm Slides. You can also edit aspects like contrast and red-eye.

MYPIN Cassette Tape Converter

Cassette to MP3 Converter

This device will let you transfer cassette tapes to a USB stick in MP3 format. It can also be used to listen to cassette tapes out loud or with headphones.

Canon Microfilm Scanner 400

Microfilm Reader

This device will let you view and make copies of microfilm files. This includes the Library's collection of the Exeter News-Letter.

Bluetooth Turntable Player

Wireless Turntable

This turntable will let you play 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl records. It has a built-in speaker or can be wirelessly paired to speakers or headphones using Bluetooth.

CD/DVD External Drive

Externak Disc Drive

This device will let you record data onto or read data from CDs or DVDs. It connects to a computer using a USB cable and works as though it were built into the computer. Note that this device will not play Blu-ray or 4K discs.
